EXCEPT FOR the suspended mobiles listed under BABY and TODDLER ranges of toys which are visually and or sound stimulating only and not meant to be handled, ALL OTHER toys are designed to be interactive and steer the recipient child to be enquiring, inquisitive, dexterous, adventurous, through including in the toy various surface textures and degrees of both construction and deconstruction for honing motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
These INTERACTIVE OPPORTUNITIES will BOND the child with the toy, and STIMULATE in the child EARLY NEURO SENSES, MOTOR SKILLS, AND SELF-ACHIEVEMENT, each and all being POSITIVE devlopments for every child.
OUR TOYS ARE NOT COLOURED - WHY?
Although some of the salvaged paper and cardboard used in STUDIO HAMISH toys may have remnant colouration from their original purpose, Hamish does not know the favourite colours of the child he gifts the toy to, so the toy is not coloured or surface treated in any way by Hamish, LEAVING IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITY FOR THE CHILD or the parents, guardian, siblings TO CO-PRODUCE THE TOY, by ADDING THE COLOUR AND A PATTERN in the child's preferred colours.
